About Me
Hello!
I’m Jen. I am a certified speech language pathologist and work full time at The Neuro Rehab Institute outpatient clinic through the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). I work with individuals who have had a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions. Through my work as an SLP, my goal is to help people recognize their potential and manage their daily lives. I believe that you have the capability to reach your goals, you just may have to adjust your path to get to them.
I graduated with my master’s degree from Emerson College in 2019. I began my career at The New England Center for Children, a private school for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Here I learned the importance of flexible scheduling, plenty of “brain breaks,” and adapting to meet each student’s individual needs.
I moved to Charleston from Massachusetts in 2021, ready for something new (and better weather). I obtained my ADHD-Rehabilitation Services Provider (ADHD-RSP) Certification in June 2022, to learn more about supporting individuals with ADHD. I became interested in working with college students, as I saw a large need in both my personal and professional life with the transition and management of multiple new challenges at once.
I love the life I have built in Charleston and the connections I have made. I enjoy working with students in my free time and helping them discover their potential.
If you feel like I could be a good match to help you succeed and reach your goals, please reach out.
I am excited to see all that you can do!
